    Great!
Thanks to everyone who put time and effort into this!
    Now I can continue

One suggestion, perhaps we can add a Link to the IOC Rank bar chart to clarify which ranks can be used?

    Alright gang!
Okay, here is what I think can be changed.

The name.  I actually like the idea of calling it, "Imperial Army Officer: Mimban".  Not a big change, but it seems to fit well.

    The rank bar entry.
    Lvl 1
Wearer may use any Imperial Army Rank bar as seen in Solo (single row) Translucent plastic tiles mounted on a metal bar and worn on the left side of the upper chest.  Lvl 2
Must use Army Lieutenant (2 red tiles followed by 1 blue) or Army Major (3 red tiles followed by 2 blue)
    Lvl 3
Must use Army Lieutenant (2 red tiles followed by 1 blue)
    Trench coat entry
Lvl 1 unchanged until last bullet point
Collar may have a brown fur (or faux fur) collar lining.  Lvl 2 unchanged

    Lvl 3
Collar must have a brown fur (or faux fur) collar lining.
I believe this is holds to the spirit of what is being discussed.  It doesn't address wearing the coat open, as (unless I missed something) the reference for that was from Rogue One, not Solo.
This would also let someone wear a Solo Captain's rank bar at level one, which I think is fair.
    What does everyone else think?
Also, the question raised within the CRL Team was will we need to add a photo of the Major rank bar.  I think we would want to.  If anyone has one made (with the larger R1/Solo buttons) and wants to send a photo we can move forward.

Hi Geoffrey, thanks for pointing this out, I just re-checked with the Krennic CRL and the point about "no buckles" does not exist for Krennic's boots. However the "no buckle" requirement would not apply for the adjustment strap, because an adjustment strap without a buckle would not be an adjustment strap but just a strip of leather. I will change this in the other thread. I have no idea what it is adjusting, in my personal opinion it's just for the look, not for actual use, but that's just my private opinion, I have never really thought about this any further.

And yes, it's meant to be exactly the same like on the pic you found. Sadly most of the reference shots of the boots are very blurry and if there would be a stretch panel behind the strap, one would not see it. But from what I can tell from the pic you posted I think some part of the upper end of the boots is overlapping with the leather in the rear and the circumference of the boots is adjusted in this way, not with a stretch panel. Is this confusing or is it clear what I tried to describe?

For your final question, yes I think they are mostly the same between R1 and SOLO. Simply from a production point of view I think they re-used them from R1, except in case a uniform really did not fit the actor.

    Regards
    Stefan

Hi Geoffrey, have a look at my CRL proposal for the R1 Officers:

I collected every reference I could find, although it's not an official CRL (because no one has yet made a complete R1 Staff Officer) you can use it as a guide for your uniform. Kris has already mentioned some differences to the "normal" Staff Officer from the OT. E.g. the tunic is a bit more tapered to the body of the wearer.

And about your boots question, they re-used boots from the First Order for some people and the normal riding boots had an adjustment strap, which they didn't in the OT.

    Hope this helps!

@SNK:  The CRL Team is reviewing this proposal again. There's a good chance many of the proposals can be implemented, but we will confirm later.

Meanwhile, because Legion databases are still locked, post-election, and the new LMO teams can't even START working on the backlog until March 1 when the transition switch is flipped, it is likely to be at LEAST March 10 before anything can actually start moving on this, even if everyone here was in complete agreement. The Detachment staff does not currently have the power to make ANY changes, nor can the Legion staff review any of our proposals until they're back up and running.  So please be patient while the Legion-level people get their bearings.

Once the wheels are moving again, things can start happening.
