Here are some pics that I have of IOC members from various troops last year. I hope this is what you're looking for Ron. Ive also included the TKIDs of the members in the photos. All of these are from the Badlands Garrison

Funny part was the lady's kid was dressed as Vader. I was like "Dude, ask your kid. I'm one of those guys he chokes to death all the time".

This one isn't star-wars related at all, but I think it's a good story. I did theater for a decade before I decided I needed a steady paycheck, and as a result I had a lot of costumes over the years. One of my last shows was a comedy, The Man Who Came to Dinner, and I had to be in a wheelchair for almost the entire thing, which was three hours long. I decided to take the wheelchair out to Disneyland once while in costume to get accustomed to it for an all day event. Unfortunately, this also happened to be Dapper Day.
Let me tell you, if you find yourself at Disneyland on Dapper Day, I implore you to RUN. The park is SWAMPED and it is impossible to navigate on two legs, let alone four wheels. Disney gave us two cast members to help keep the massive crowds far enough away that I wouldn't get crushed, but as a result, the Dappers thought I was a Disney Character/Executive, and kept asking for photos. There was "Mr. Iger," "Mr. Disney," "Mr. Iwerks," and funnily enough, "Mr. Lasseter." The poor cast members didn't know what to do.
The moral of the story here: If you need to get accustomed to a certain costume, might be best not to be anywhere near tourism and special days.

I did a charity party recently in my TIE Pilot and a person called me Darth Vader. I have heard this is super common among TIE Pilots so much so there is a patch from the JRS that says #NOTVADER

I've asked a couple of women at a movie premier if they wanted me to take a picture of them with our costumed characters. One of them replied, "No thanks! We're not Trekkies."

Grand Admiral here. I probably get "who are you," "which movie are you in," and "will you take a picture for us" most often. Occasionally someone will call me director. I've also been called "like Thrawn," which was amusing and essentially accurate, and "Mrs. Thrawn" which I'll gladly accept. I have been thanked for my service and asked for directions multiple times. Once, someone commented on a picture of me seated in the emperor's throne, flanked by two death troopers, with "Are you in the Air Force, or is that a cosplay?" Thinking the death troopers would make my sarcasm kind of obvious, I replied "Space Force." The only response to that was "cool."

I often get confused for a security guard when wearing my Bridge or Scanning Crew costumes. Thinking about ordering some "Vader Security" patches.

ocmano reacted to Eagle in The Mandalorian CRLs (Minor Spoilers) (S2)
Minor spoiler warning, nothing serious to the plot, most of this was in trailer or set photos.
Season 1
The Client
Played by Werner Herzog
In Chapter 7 he's revealed to be an imperial officer. He rocks a pretty cool trench coat and Imperial medal.
Dr. Pershing
Played by Omid Abtahi
This guy is similar to Esro from R1.
Prisoner from Chapter 6
Played by ?
This guy only got about 5 seconds of screen time in the background. We know almost nothing about this guy, we don't even have enough photos to make a CRL, we don't even know if he's imperial. People are assuming he's an Imperial officer because he is a prisoner of the New Republic and wears an officer tunic with a unique rank plaque , that's about it. I doubt anyone will make a CRL for this guy, but I thought I throw him into this list for fun.
Moff Gideon
Played by Giancarlo Esposito
I think JRS and the IOC are going to have a custody battle over this guy, not gonna lie. His costume is definitely a hybrid of a Tie Pilot and an Imperial officer. He wears an officer tunic and either jodhpurs or straight pants, couldn't really tell. If they were jodhpurs they had very small flaps. From what I saw he wears standard ridding boots. His rank appears to be mounted on his shoulder straps. His armor and his ship is where I feel we may have issues. His armor is tie pilot inspired and he pilots a modified TIE in the show. Personally, I think IOC should get him because from what we know he's officer first and clearly a pilot second. Hopefully Chapter 8 will reveal more!
I'll update this thread when Chapter 8 drops next week!
Season 2
New officers in Season 2!
These guys use Rouge One/Solo code cylinders, hat pins, and belt boxes. They wear OT style ESB/ROTJ rank bars. They wield SE-14r along with that holster worn by the shield gate officer in Rouge One, apart from some detailing. The belt appears to be on different ways depending on the officer.

ocmano reacted to kman in Opinions on Plasticarmsdealer Vendor?
No personal experience. I know the people behind that store were heavily involved in the detective work piecing together the details of the mudtrooper costumes from Solo: A Star Wars Story, and the shop has been around for several years. They've been around for several years and I don't recall seeing a lot of complaints about them, if any, but then, I don't really keep a close lookout, either. You could probably search the mudtrooper group on Facebook and see what people have said about them there, to get a general idea.
The user reviews on Etsy seem to be fairly solid, and they've sold a lot of things. I'd be willing to test them out on something, personally, but here, it's not my money on the line... and I definitely don't know them enough to personally vouch for them. I'll say that $119 for a raw plastic casting seems a bit high to me, but to be fair I don't know how much work goes into that particular process.
But there is an opinion, for what that's worth.
