Wampa is good for the jumpsuit, belt and hat! For boots I recommend Crowsprops, he makes custom sizes boots.

    There's a thread here:
But nothing is ever "100% 501st ready" and in the case of these, unless you happen to be the ideal size for these, they'll need tailoring.

When I joined the 501st in June, so a little over half a year now, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. However, I have to say it was probably one of the best decisions I've made to join up. I’ve always been a guy who likes to help his community while having fun in the process, after all I am an Eagle Scout, hence my name. I also love Star Wars, like most of us. So naturally. The 501st was the right place for me. When I got that approval email back from my GML. I was filled with joy! My first troop was a big convention, so it was interesting to say the least. Everyone was so welcoming and kind! I learned the ropes pretty quickly! After a few month of membership and 52 troops I have to say it was more then worth it and I can't wait for more!

I wanted to give special thanks to my squadmates in Everglades Squad and other members of the Florida Garrison I've met, you guys make trooping that much more fun! I want to thank @KaiserNash in particular because without your guidance I probably wouldn't be as active as I am! You’re a legend man and an awesome SL, couldn't ask for better!

To all the staff and members on the IOC, this is an excellent community we have cultivated! If someone makes a post a minute later someone responds ready to help! My thanks to everyone who has helped me on here! I highly recommend every approved member makes a troop log if they haven't already. It's super cool to see what people are doing around the world! Plus you get a cool badge!

Getting a personal trading card approved with the 501st or IOC logo would have to go through Legion Merch Officers. You could always skip the hassle and order IOC Detachment trading cards

I'm seriously interested to see which detachment Moff Gideon will fall into. I personally think the IOC because he's a Moff. But that's just me. I also hope they release a visual dictionary for the Mandalorian too, so we can get better view of his costume.

I'm in the fence with Walt. On one hand, I like his selection. But I've noticed some of his kits come with imperfections. I would recommend moncal or @CantinaSecurity for navy trooper helms personally.

Eagle reacted to Paggeldiwwer in Poncho Question?
According to Glyn Dillon, the costume designer of Rogue One, they only had black ponchos on set. And he referred that the officers-uniforms and the ponchos in the Eadu-scene were all black.

Yes, the CRL still allows a black poncho for a line officer. Before a change of the CRL, a black and a green poncho were both allowed for both uniforms, line- and staff-officer. The green poncho was taken out of the CRL again. This was the result of a poll here in the IOC concerning the question if the green poncho should be allowed in the CRL or not. Since that the black poncho remained in both CRL's - for the staff-officer and the line officer.

I'm in the same shoes as you. I got my belt from the same person, I'm letting you know now, it wont come out, trust me I've tried everything. You cant bleach the tunic because its cream, not white. I'm scraping my ISB and going staff, because that guy's belt ruined my tunic.

Eagle reacted to kman in Level 2 & 3
It's permitted, and yes, there are a few people who have endeavored to cover every possible variant, which really ups their Level 2/3 counts.  (not that those mean much, other than some bragging rights... which I am all for LOL)  For people who just want to troop, it's kinda pointless.  Once you're approved, you can troop it.  Anything else, to them, is just spending more money.  For people who are more into the costuming and accuracy aspect, it's a lot of fun!  (if expensive)

Many costumes have 3+ variants, depending on swapping certain accessories.  ANH, ESB, ROTJ, at least, and sometimes Solo/R1.  (although sometimes, the base costume is different enough to warrant an entirely different base, particularly for those latter two and when you invite extra scrutiny)

As noted, the expectations climb with each re-submission, so ALL the little details, including those which aren't necessarily called out in the CRL, are going to be looked at much more closely.

The one caveat to all that is to not slam our judges with a ton of variants all at once.  I believe there is a sticky message somewhere in the Promotion forums that requests submissions to be kept to one per week.  (Not referring to an L2 submission proceeding to an L3, but rather, avoid submitting 3+ L2 variants all at once, etc.)
