I first met the 501s on December 1st, 2018 during a local expo. During this time I have changed costumes (originally a Royal Guard), gone through something like 3 flight suits due to gaining weight during the pandemic and bought another 3 pairs of boots on a shopping spree that would end up not meeting the CRL standards.
 
But finally, on the morning of November 11th, 2023, I received my approval!

Durch die konstante Anzahl an Executor Anträgen dachte ich, ich zähle ein paar Punkte auf, die es zu beachten gilt.

Minimum
Denkt daran, dass der "Executor" Status keine Anforderung, sondern viel mehr ein optionaler Status ist, den Ihr anstreben könnt. Es gibt klare Standards, die erreicht oder übertroffen werden müssen. Diese sind in der jeweiligen CRL zu finden. In seltenen Fällen könnt Ihr gegen die CRL verstoßen, dies muss aber klar und eindeutig begründet und belegbar sein. Während es immer Ausnahmen zur Regel gibt, ist wonach wir wirklich suchen, ein gutes und konsistentes Beispiel eines Kostüms und nicht die Ausnahme.
Es ist nicht das Ende der Welt, falls Euer Kostüm diese Anforderungen nicht erfüllen kann. Am Ende des Tages habt Ihr immer noch ein Kostüm, das den Standards der 501st entspricht und mit dem Ihr immer noch Troopen könnt.
 
Stellt sicher, dass Ihr den IOC Status habt. Ihr könnt diesen hier anfordern. Um dazu berechtigt zu sein, müsst Ihr Mitglied der 501st sein und ein eingetragenes IOC Kostüm besitzen.

Stellt sicher, dass Euer Kostüm alle, in der jeweiligen CRL angegebenen, Kriterien erfüllt oder übertrifft.

Seht Euch bereits angenommene Mitglieder, sowie die Beispielbilder der CRL an. Euer Kostüm sollte mindestens so gut wie diese sein.
 
Stellt gute und klare Bilder Eures Kostüms zur Verfügung. Front, Rücken und Seiten. Stellt sicher, dass alle in der CRL angegeben Anforderungen klar zu sehen sind.
 
Des weiteren zu berücksichtigen
 
Beim Troopen verrutscht das Kostüm und Ihr schwitzt. Bilder am Ende eines Troops zu machen ist nicht von Vorteil. Seht diese Bilder als das Präsentieren Eurer Uniform in bestem Licht. Sollte die CRL an einigen Stellen vage sein oder Ihr versteht etwas nicht, schaut den allgemeinen Teil des Forums durch. Die meisten Dinge wurden dort schon einmal besprochen. Falls nicht, traut Euch im Forum nachzufragen. Wissen zu Teilen ist eine gute Sache. Mit diesen Programmen versuchen wir unsere Standards und unsere Qualität zu verbessern. Gebt Euch nicht mit dem zufrieden, was Ihr habt. Bügelt Eure Uniform. Die Spitze des Hutes sollte über den Augen sitzen. Stellt sicher, dass das Rangabzeichen gerade und an der richtigen Position sitzt. Achtet auf die korrekte Positionierung des Gürtels. Bei Offizieren soll der Gürtel über dem Bauchnabel sitzen und die gesamte Mittelnaht der Jacke verdecken. Stellt sicher, dass die Schnalle mittig sitzt. Achtet bei Offiziershosen darauf, dass die Seiten gut sitzen und sich keine Falten bilden. Falls Ihr euch unsicher seid, schaut noch einmal entsprechende Szenen im Film.. Seid geduldig. Erwartet nicht, dass Ihr sofort eine Antwort bekommt. Solltet Ihr mehrere Versionen des selben Kostüms einreichen, erhöht noch einmal die Ansprüche. Seid so akkurat wie möglich, z.B. bei der Position des Rangabzeichens, der Gürtel Boxen oder der Anzahl an Löchern im Gürtel. Achtet auf die kleinsten Details. Wir sind zwar nicht unfehlbar und diskutieren natürlich über Einzelheiten. Trotzdem ist die finale Entscheidung genau das: Final. Bitte bestätigt, dass Ihr diesen Post gelesen und verstanden habt.  
Sowjetische Stiefel
Diese Stiefel sehen nicht aus wie im Film. Das Leder ist zu weich. Die im Film getragenen Stiefel sind viel steifer. Während das nicht ideal ist, haben wir Träger solcher Stiefel auch schon auf "Executor" Level akzeptiert. Trotzdem sollten diese Stiefel nicht eure erste Wahl sein. Wir würden es bevorzugen, wenn diese Stiefel nur dann getragen werden, wenn der Träger Schwierigkeiten beim Finden passender Stiefel hat.  
Was ist für mich drin?
Die "Executor" und "Imperator" Programme wurden eingeführt um das Bewusstsein und die Wertschätzung für Akkurate Kostüme zu erhöhen. 
Was ist also für Euch drin?
Der Hauptvorteil besteht darin, dass Ihr ein besseres Verständnis und eine höhere Wertschätzung für Euer Kostüm aufbaut. Nachdem sie Euer Kostüm gesehen haben, sind andere vielleicht auch inspiriert sich so ein Kostüm anzuschaffen. Ihr bekommt eine schicke Auszeichnung hier im Forum. In der Zukunft kann es vorkommen, dass wir Merchandise speziell für Mitglieder mit "Executor" oder "Imperator" Status anbieten. Ihr bekommt ein PDF Zertifikat. Das könnt Ihr ausdrucken und aufhängen, damit es von Euren Freunden bestaunt werden kann.

Das "Deployment" Team des IOC möchte hier beispielhaft Erklären, wie eine Anfrage zur Erhöhung eines Kostüms zum "Executor" Status (Level 2) auszusehen hat.
Das hier gezeigte Beispiel bezieht sich auf einen imperialen Flottenoffizier, kann aber natürlich auf alle Kostüme angewendet werden.
 
Um eine Anfrage auf den "Executor" Status zu stellen, müsst Ihr ein IOC Kostüm besitzen, das 501st approved ist. Des weiteren, müsst Ihr hier im Forum den "IOC Member" Status besitzen. Falls dies noch nicht der Fall ist, müsst Ihr diesen hier anfragen:
Ist dies getan, ist ein guter erster Schritt, sich die CRL eures Kostüms noch einmal anzusehen und sicher zu stellen, dass alle Anforderungen erfüllt sind (Level 2 Anforderungen sind in blauem Text geschrieben). Dies ist wichtig, da CRLs laufende Dokumente sind, die sich jeder Zeit ändern können. Daher ist es wichtig sicherzustellen, dass euer Kostüm dem neusten Stand entspricht. Als nächstes solltet Ihr euch folgenden Thread ansehen:
Während die meisten Anforderungen für einen "Executor" Antrag in der CRL stehen, gibt es Fälle in denen der aktuelle "Deployment Officer" (DO) weitere Anforderungen an Eure Uniform stellt (z.B. gefärbte Kanten am Gürtel oder Rillen im Gürtel). Dies kommt häufig vor, wenn der Bewerber bereits mehrere Anträge für dasselbe Kostüm gestellt hat (z.B. zwei Flotten Offiziere, eine Uniform als Captain Needa und eine als Admiral Piett).
 
Es kann außerdem von Vorteil sein, sich bereits angenommene oder abgelehnte Anträge, vorheriger Bewerber anzusehen, um die Erwartungen an Euch abzuschätzen.
 
Nachdem Ihr das alles getan habt, seid Ihr bereit einen Antrag auf "Executor" Status zu stellen. Dazu geht Ihr wie folgt vor:
1.    Erstellt einen Thread mit Titel in folgendem Format: "ID-XXXXX Requesting [Kostüm art] Executor Status" (oder IC, IN je nach Kostüm)
2.    Der Thread sollte enthalten: 1:  Euren Namen 2: Eure 501st ID # 3: Euren IOC Forum Namen 4: Eure Garnison
3.    Ladet hoch-auflösende Fotos Eurer Vorder- und Rückseite, sowie beider Seiten in komplettem Kostüm hoch. Des weiteren werden Fotos aller Details, die für den "Executor" Status (L2) verlangt werden, benötigt. Vergesst nicht, ein gut ausgeleuchtetes Foto in Action-Pose, vor neutralem Hintergrund hochzuladen.
 
Nachstehend findet Ihr ein Beispiel, eines Antrags auf "Executor" Status für einen imperialen Flottenoffizier. Roter text markiert die Kommentare des "Deployment Officers", die erklären, wieso der jeweilige Abschnitt, Teil des Antrags ist. Generell gilt jedoch: Je mehr Bilder, desto besser.

[Oft ist das Erste, worauf der DO achtet die allgemeine Passform der Uniform und das allgemeine Erscheinungsbild (z.B. wirft die Uniform Falten?). Deshalb sind HOCHauflösende Bilder in einer gut ausgeleuchteten Umgebung so wichtig. Daher bitten wir Euch davon abzusehen Fotos auf Conventions oder unter nicht Idealen Bedingungen zu machen; Ihr werdet höchst wahrscheinlich nach neuen Bildern gefragt.
 
Der häufigste Hinweis der DOs ist, die Uniform zu bügeln um möglichst viele Falten zu entfernen und Gummibänder unter den Füßen hinzuzufügen um ein Hochrutschen der Hose aus den Stiefeln zu verhindern. Es ist von Vorteil, dies schon Vorher zu erledigen um den Prozess zu beschleunigen.]

Nachdem sich der "Deployment Officer" durch Euren Antrag gearbeitet hat, kann es vorkommen, dass weitere Bilder angefordert werden, oder Änderung an Eurem Kostüm nötig sind, um den derzeitigen "Executor" Status zu erfüllen.

There is no changing room. The venue has bars, a restaurant and is one of the city's largest indoor gardens.
 
The theme is the Empire at cocktails. While an IOC costume is not required, you'll probably look out of place in armor. Most will be in Officer uniforms. My spouse is Rebel Legion and so he's made a Senator. 

Hey guys, I was lucky enough to wear the uniform on set and now the episode aired today I'm probably a little more free to talk about it.
 
It was more like a stretch denim, will try get some example pictures of closeups to be used at somepoint.

Ginny from the UKG asked us to share that all will need to sign-up on the register to use the changing hall we have been allocated. 
They will also need volunteers to man the doors to ensure the hall remains secure.

Some things should go without saying, but we live in an age where we do have to say things. I will cross post this in the Officer's Mess too.
 
At no times will this detachment be a home or accepting to people that are friendly to or espouse the ideas behind fascism, Nazism or any totalitarian ideology. We dress up as fictional space bad guys. Conflating any of the above with doing that is not only morally wrong, it puts at risk what we do here in this detachment and the legion as a whole. We will not allow such a risk.
 
I have spoken to members who have belonged to reenacting groups that have had those ideologies come into them. That will not be permitted here, not under this administration. And if that day ever comes that it would be allowed, I would hope you would join me in finding another hobby.
 
There will be no litmus tests for members. If you are a reenactor, I hope you enjoy doing it and I hope you keep the ideology out of it. There is no conversation over re-enacting that you cannot take private. And if you are an open adopter of the ideologies listed above, no one wants to hear it...ever. If you see something in violation of this, please contact the staff and we will deal with it promptly.

I need to just get this out. I am not going to be able to attend Celebrations London in April. It is not going to be possible. My father has cancer. He has a pretty bad one (not that there are good ones). We have known since Thanksgiving and he completed a very aggressive regimen of chemo and radiation a couple of weeks ago. He had and still is having a rough time of it. I stayed with my parents during the last week of treatment to help out as I could. He is getting better now and every day some of his strength returns. But he has a very serious surgery still ahead around the time of the convention. I plan to be there with him when this happens.

Everything that was planned for Celebrations will still happen. I have very good people working on the staff of the IOC Detachment that have everything covered. They will see that everything happens without a hitch. Things I planned to bring to people will still get to them, either in the mail or hand carried by friends. The only real loss is not seeing people that I love dearly. I had hoped to go to Celebrations and for a week in addition in the rest of Europe, but that will have to wait.

I am only giving the reasons for this now as people have been asking and wondering. I want to thank everyone who has been thinking and praying for my family. Knowing that helps immensely.

No, but we do ask for guests to hold to the theme to keep this as to in-universe as possible for the photos. 

So, mein Firebird-Racing Shirt ist angekommen. Es passt gut und anhand dessen habe ich jetzt mal gemessen.
Da die Hüfte die stärkste Stelle meines Körpers ist, habe ich nicht unter Arm, sondern weiter unten nachgemessen und komme auf 25 Inches von Naht zu Naht. Ich bevorzuge männergeschnittene Oberbekleidung (auch wegen der Länge), daher werde ich Männer XL nehmen.

501st Legion Member since April 2014 with a Black Staff Officer costume but I immediately fell in love with other Imperial Officer costumes such as Line Officer which is the one I troop the most with, First Order Colonel loving the colour, but then took flight with my ANH TIE Fighter Pilot and last but not least my recently completed Snowtrooper Commander (which reminds me of my years in service in the Italian Mountain Troops). I am the leader of the Italian IOC Command Division (151st "Death Star" Battalion) which helps everyone who wants to build an Imperial Officer costume and make it the most accurate as possible. I have always helped as best as I could the Italian Wing to build their TIE Fighter Pilots, doing personal researches, building my own hard parts and helping new recruits. Being new to the Blizzard Force I am always searching for the best resources for the Snowtroopers.

I have been SL of SubZeroSquad in 2016 and for the past two years. I have also been GXO in 2017 and GEC for the past two years. In 2018 I have been a LCOG. Now I serves as SL and thanks to my SXO, I have plenty of time to dedicate to the Legion Membership Office.

In my day to day life, I am an Aircraft Technician specialised in helicopters for the Italian Army, I am serving under the arms from 2011 and before entering the Aviation industry I was part of the Italian Mountain Troops. I love my job and luckily this gives me plenty of time for hobbies: the Legion, Warhammer, travels and most importantly the love of my life, whom I met thanks to the 501st and she supports me in all endeavours!

With the Corona Virus Issues going on now. If you are coughing or feeling unwell for trooping, do not go for the trooping.  And do wash your hands when you can! And even after trooping, clean your gloves (sometime we can forget to give the glove a good cleaning) as sometime we high five people and stuff.  

Maintain Good Hygiene!

It is taking pretty much taking the same measures against the common cold or flu. As sometime, we do go for convention or even trooping to hospital.

I was  honored by my Garrison by receiving Trooper of the Year . 
I've been trooping in My Governor Pryce and Last weekend at our Annual Holiday party they presented me with this honor. 
I just pasted my 125th troop in my Pryce on Sat. Its been one incredible ride and I just love being with this amazing family. 
 

 

 
 

For my past few troops, I have realised something; I tend to not be very... forward. I understand that as an officer, I sort of have an obligation to be the 'face' of the group, to be the one who interacts with people, since my face can clearly be seen.

But I tend to not know what to say and how to say things or present myself in a good manner. Can anyone help me get over this? To improve my experience and that of others?

I feel it starts from body posture frist. When you have a good body posture, it helps a lot in doing the frist step in the role
